WHY AQUALINE?
When we founded Aqualine back in 2003 our mission was clear: to build a boat that rivals the highest quality bespoke craft and make it available at an affordable price.
The first Aqualine boat was unveiled at Crick in 2004 and took the event by storm; we took a record-breaking twenty-one orders for the boat at the show alone. Since then, we have built and delivered over five hundred boats using the same skill, care and attention to detail.
We are proud to say that Aqualine is now synonymous with affordable luxury and is the name of the boat that many people aspire to own.

With Aqualine everything is carefully planned and analyzed. Our engineering design team was not constrained by the way that canal boats were historically built so could take a fresh approach rather than doing it the way it had always been done. Each new boat design starts life as a CAD drawing which allows every aspect of the boat to be plotted precisely, down to the smallest detail. A Finite Element Analysis (FEA) verifies that the distribution of stresses and displacements on the hull are within tolerance. When everything is approved the boat is put through a strict production procedure to ensure that what works on computer, works on water. All boats conform to the Recreational Craft Directive and come complete with CE mark, plus a 12 months warranty with extended warranties on many parts. |

Depending on the complexities of the design an Aqualine canal boat takes around twelve weeks to build. The build takes place in Poland where every member of the team is highly skilled and qualified in their craft. Many different craftsmen work on each boat from welders to carpenters and electricians. As well as fully trained professionals, modern-day manufacturing techniques also play a pivotal role in the construction of an Aqualine boat. This blend of time served tradition and state of the art technology means that an Aqualine boat is unrivalled for the quality of its build and its price. Every material that goes into an Aqualine has been hand-picked for durability as well as for aesthetic appeal. The shell is constructed from high grade steel and the finished hull is enhanced by with an epoxy primer and a polyurethane paint system to give a deep finish that is both tough and long-lasting. The interior of the hull is spray-foam insulated then fitted and lined with a choice of finishes. These could include a painted and hardwood panelled finish or a traditional oak or ash veneer. |

A priority for Aqualine is to produce interiors that are not only functional but stylish and contemporary too. We work with our design partner, Bayswater Interiors, to create elegant interiors that express your personal style, whether that’s luxe, coastal, minimalist, industrial or something else entirely. Flooring, tiles, worktops, switches, light fittings, taps and upholstery all add personality and individuality to your interior and are chosen for their quality, functionality and aesthetics. We don’t think you should have to compromise on your interior design because you are on a boat, and with Aqualine, you don’t have to. |
